Saturday night kicked off the west coast rounds of Amsoil Arenacross. The track was slightly different from what we have seen so far this series. Scott Zont felt good in practice qualifying 5th in Lites & 18th in AX. Sewell qualified 10th in AX with a 21.560 and Struebig qualified in 21st for Lites with a 23.441. In the Lites main event Zont grabbed a great start, he held on to 2nd for a good portion of the race. After a few battles he ended the race with a 5th place finish. Steven Mages grabbed another podium in the Lites, finishing 2nd. In the always stacked AX class Travis Sewell went 5-5 in the two main events just missing a podium finish with a 4th overall. Head over to Motonews.com for a complete recap of the first west coast round.
